This blog is about images of women (in more than one sense), from the retro to the modern. Sometimes, they are naked; sometimes I will be laughing at, but more often with them. The blog believes in treating a woman like a lady and tries to remember that every girl is somebody's daughter.

To comment on this very controversial issue...
Or, "Ok, the Glee pics thing."
Let me be blunt: Nobody who watches Glee is going to like those pictures,
and nobody who likes those pictures is going to watch Glee. Ever.

Lovely to the last, wasn't she?
An archive of rejected shots from Marilyn Monroe's last, famous photoshoot.
The one which Lindsay Lohan made her "tribute," sampled at right.
There's more.
Would it hurt my cred as a lover of women...

And speaking of perverse
I just found this quote from anti-gay, anti-woman, anti-sex bigot James Dobson back in the days of the Meese Commission (remember that?):
"Wouldn't you say a photograph of a woman masturbating, with a look of ecstasy on her face, is degrading and humiliating? I would!"
Why no, "Dr" Dobson. No I wouldn't.
This still strikes me as perverse
The Spider-Man filmmakers keep casting a blonde as the redhead Mary Jane, and a redhead as the blonde Gwen Stacy...and here they've done it again.

Dirty lyrics I never noticed before the clarity of the iPod
(BTW, because the record in question came out in 1983, I'm choosing to illustrate this post with some of the sexier ladies of that year. How many can you name?)
From "Amanda Ruth" by Rank And File...
Her salt’s tasty, her sugar’s sweet
No she can’t cook
But she’s got something to eat
Why, if I didn't know better... I'd say he was talking about her
